# Collaborative visit and talks at University of Pretoria, South Africa

I am visiting Roumen Anguelov, Salisu Garba and Jean Lubuma in the Mathematics Department of the University of Pretoria. I shall give two talks, one on genetic control strategies against mosquito-borne infections and a second on waiting time distributions (non-exponential distributions of latent and infectious periods) in models for disease transmission.

# Infectious Disease Dynamics Workshop at Newton Institute, Cambridge, UK

Visiting the Isaac Newton Institute at the University of Cambridge for a workshop on Infectious Disease Dynamics. This is a follow-up meeting to a workshop held August/September 2013 that I attended.
