I am honored to have received an Alumni Association Distinguished Graduate Professor award. This is in recognition of work in promoting graduate education at NC State and the work with, and achievements of, the fantastic group of graduate students with whom I have had the fortune of working over the years here. Thanks to all the wonderful students and the broader Biomathematics family, past and present, as this award says a lot about all the great things that we do at the interface of mathematical and biological sciences.
