Collaborative visit and talks at University of Pretoria, South Africa
I am visiting Roumen Anguelov, Salisu Garba and Jean Lubuma in the Mathematics Department of the University of Pretoria. I shall give two talks, one on genetic control strategies against mosquito-borne infections and a second on waiting time distributions (non-exponential distributions of latent and infectious periods) in models for disease transmission.
Infectious Disease Dynamics Workshop at Newton Institute, Cambridge, UK
Visiting the Isaac Newton Institute at the University of Cambridge for a workshop on Infectious Disease Dynamics. This is a follow-up meeting to a workshop held August/September 2013 that I attended.
