Particularly impressed by the MAA undergraduate research poster session and the great work done by the many presenters there.

I am visiting Roumen Anguelov, Salisu Garba and Jean Lubuma in the Mathematics Department of the University of Pretoria. I shall give two talks, one on genetic control strategies against mosquito-borne infections and a second on waiting time distributions (non-exponential distributions of latent and infectious periods) in models for disease transmission.

Visiting the Isaac Newton Institute at the University of Cambridge for a workshop on Infectious Disease Dynamics. This is a follow-up meeting to a workshop held August/September 2013 that I attended.
